With a masters degree in Arte Graphica from Villa Schifanoia, Florence Italy, Pat Farrell’s design career has spanned diverse media: On-air design for ABC TV Boston; Corporate graphics; City plaza installations; Exhibit design including “The City at 42nd St”; Jewelry design for the MOMA store. 

Since the ’80’s Pat Farrell has created the design and marketing for her own licensed collections. ‘Creating the story’ has been as interesting as the product design itself. The “Pat Farrell” brand has set a widely imitated standard in the stationary and gift industries. Her licensed programs for the home including “Rosie” and the legendary “Amalfi” have created partnerships with over 25 companies. Italy has become an ongoing inspiration and destination where painting maiolica in the ceramics factories of Umbria is a way of life.
